A production drawing from the MGM Studios animated short "Slap Happy Lion" (1947). Featuring a fantastic illustration of the Lion carrying some extra weight in his tail, the graphite and colored pencil drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.5"x9.5", the drawing is in very good condition with page discoloration from age, minimal edge and corner wear, and a light stain on the bottom right corner.
